At the beginning of the pregnancy my boobs hurt a lot, and I was wearing a larger cup size by week 6. Things leveled off and were fine until last week...when the boob pain came back again. Boob Pain = Growth Now my bras were small again...but clearly this was the washer. I thought to myself, "it isn't that they are bigger, they are just fuller and wider"...and then I realized why I always did so poorly on the verbal portion of standardized tests.
I bought a new bra on Sunday thinking that I would have it just in case I needed it...in the far far away future...probably just sit in my drawer with the tags on...no way my boobs would get THAT big. The next morning (today) I tried it on...it fit...WTF?!?! I'm up 2 sizes by 18 weeks...I really don't want to do the math on this one to figure out where I will be at 40 weeks...is the alphabet even long enough??
Anyway, to prove how serious the situation is, check out the comparison of the before and after cup size...
Left: padded B cup Right: unpadded D cup...D!!!!
My new bras could eat my old bras as a snack!...nom nom nom

All of those years in high school wanting bigger boobs...maybe this is why all of those high school girls keep getting knocked up?...for the boobs. I went to Al with my dilemma...
Me: The D-cup bra I bought fits?! What if they keep growing like this?! How big will they be in July?!?!
Al: (with a smile and a laugh) Gigantic!!!
So clearly he is no help at all. Here is this week's bump picture. The bump is getting bigger; therefore the monster boobs don't look that big...but they are...
(I don't have a kid already...I was just babysitting.)
So in conclusion I'm getting the boobs I always wanted as I'm loosing my waist...ugh.
Welcome to the wide wide world of Motherhood! lol If you think this baby is changing your body...just wait!
ReplyDeleteI loved my big pregnancy boobies! Before kids I was a "Nearly A"...yes that's what the tag said. By the time I reached the end of my pregnancy I was a full D...with Elijah I got to an E!!! Don't get too excited though if/once you don't breast feed those things deflate fast and can actually get smaller than they were before.
ReplyDeleteTHAT'S MY KID!!! hehe you look gorgeous!
